Put your skills to the test as a paper trader and win 5,000 USDt 

The road to cryptocurrency mass adoption might be steep and bumpy, but not impossible to achieve. Bitfinex believes that one of the ways to achieve this is through education, in addition to product innovation and establishing trust. 

It was our motivation when we developed our latest and newly launched Paper Trading feature – to give opportunities to anyone looking to learn how to trade crypto and upgrade their trading skills. 

To those with minimum trading knowledge and skills, they will be able to practice and familiarise themselves with a trading platform without putting real funds at risk. Meanwhile, experienced traders can use it to improve their skills by putting new strategies to the test without the fear of losing money. 

What’s more, the Paper Trading feature is available for exchange and margin trading, funding, derivatives and OTC trading between paper trading-enabled accounts, with test currency pairs closely matching actual market rates.

Not to mention, the above advantages come with the opportunities to access and try all of Bitfinex’s state-of-the-art features and functionalities. 

Bitfinex always goes above and beyond when it comes to providing access and opportunities for people to know cryptocurrency. Not only do we provide the tools, but we also encourage people to explore the world of cryptocurrency in a safe environment.

Following the new feature launch, Bitfinex is conducting a Paper Trading competition, Rey del Papel.

The competition aims to incentivise people to get exposure to cryptocurrency through crypto trading. Anyone can take part in the competition and start trading without the fear of losing money, at the same time, stand a chance to win a prize.

How to join Rey del Papel is very straightforward, as follow: 

  • You will need to be 18 years of age and not be a Prohibited Person as defined in the Bitfinex Terms of Service . 
  • Create a Paper Trading sub-account and mark it as a trading competition account.
  • Accept competition terms
  • Refill your wallet with TEST tokens to start trading. You are entitled to refill your wallet for as many times as you’d like. 

The winners will be the participants with the highest trading volume and profit and loss (P&L) on TEST pairs that will stand a chance to get any of these prizes:

1st place: 5,000 USDt

2nd place: 2,000 USDt

3rd place: 1,000 USDt

4th place: 500 USDt

5th place: 500 USDt

6th place: 250 USDt

7th place: 250 USDt

8th place: 200 USDt

9th place: 200 USDt

10th place: 100 USDt

The competition will run from 15th July at 12:00:01 AM (UTC) to 29th July at 11:59:59 PM (UTC).
