29 Mar Bitfinex among First to List BXN, Native Token of Blackfort Exchange Network

ROAD TOWN, British Virgin Islands – March 29, 2024 – Bitfinex (https://www.bitfinex.com/), a premier digital asset trading platform, announced today that it will be among the first exchanges to list BXN, the native token of the BlackFort Exchange Network, a layer-1 blockchain that is EVM-compatible and designed for speed, security, and scalability.

Launched in January 2023, the BlackFort Exchange Network is a blockchain network that makes it easier to create and manage smart contracts. It allows users to start their own projects or tokens on the blockchain without needing advanced knowledge. BlackFort emphasises security and uses NFTs in its network validation process. Users can get BlackFort NFTs and stake them to join its node and validator rewards program. BlackFort’s smartchain technology enables the fast, smooth, and secure transfer of digital assets between parties.

BlackFort’s native token, BXN, serves as a key utility token that is used for transaction fees and running validator nodes to earn additional rewards.

Deposits of BXN are anticipated to open at approximately 10:00 AM UTC on March 29, 2024, subject to network conditions. Trading is planned to commence at approximately 10:00 AM on April 02, 2024, contingent upon liquidity requirements being met. BXN will be tradable against US Dollars (BXN/USD) and Tether tokens (BXN/USDt).
