ROAD TOWN, British Virgin Islands – June 18th, 2024 – Bitfinex (https://www.bitfinex.com/), a premier digital asset trading platform, announced today that it will be among the first exchanges to list ZRO, the native token of LayerZero. LayerZero is a leading cross-chain protocol facilitating seamless interaction for decentralized applications across multiple blockchains.

LayerZero seeks to advance blockchain interoperability, allowing developers to create more versatile and efficient applications. With the introduction of the ZRO token, LayerZero aims to further enhance its ecosystem, providing users with new opportunities for engagement and innovation.

The ZRO token will serve several key functions within the LayerZero platform. It will act as a governance token, allowing holders to influence the future development and direction of the protocol. Trading is expected to commence at approximately 12:00PM UTC on June 20th, 2024, contingent upon liquidity requirements being met. The ZRO token will be tradable against US Dollars (ZRO/USD) and Tether tokens (ZRO/USDt)
