23 Mar Bitfinex to List Toncoin (TON), Native Token of The Open Network
ROAD TOWN, British Virgin Islands – March 23, 2023 – Bitfinex (www.bitfinex.com/), a state-of-the-art digital token trading platform, announced today that it will be listing Toncoin (TON), the native token of The Open Network, which aims to unite different blockchains and the Web2 Internet into one open network.
The TON ecosystem includes a decentralised exchange and staking tools, along with domain names and multifunctional wallets. It is designed to allow for billions of quick, inexpensive, and energy-efficient transactions.
TON can be used to participate in governance of the network to pay transaction processing fees, facilitate cross-chain transactions and as the native currency for services provided by apps in the network’s ecosystem. TON is also available to purchase and send on Telegram, allowing users to send and receive TON through peer-to-peer transactions. TON has a total supply of ~$5.08 billion and a market cap of ~$3.2 billion.

Bitfinex will open deposits for TON on April 5, 2023 at approximately 10am UTC. Trading of TON will commence on April 7, 2023 at approximately 10am UTC, in trading pairs against the US Dollar (USD) and Tether tokens (USDt)
